The Children’s Ministry at Heartland exists to come alongside parents as they seek to raise their children in the church and provide age-appropriate opportunities for children to learn, worship and grow in their understanding of Christ and His love. Below are more details regarding each area of ministry. If you are interested in helping with any area of the Children’s Ministry, please contact the church office.

A Note from Riley Bailey-Hantz

Hello Heartland Family!  I am humbled to introduce myself to you as Heartland Community Church’s new Children and Youth Director. I grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa and graduated from UNI with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Theatre for Youth. My family lives in Vinton, Iowa where my father is a pastor and my siblings go to school at Vinton-Shellsburg. Since graduating college, I have been teaching in Las Vegas, Nevada. I’m excited to move back to my Midwest roots and help serve your families as you grow closer to Christ and closer together. I have several years of experience working with students on their emotional, spiritual, and educational development and I’m grateful for the opportunity to channel all this experience towards a greater purpose of serving God’s kingdom in North Liberty, Iowa.
