Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!
Psalm 150
C.S. Lewis wrote:
“A man can no more diminish God’s glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word ‘darkness’ on the walls of his cell.”
Isaiah 43:7 Bring all who claim me as their God, for I have made them for my glory. It was I who created them.

Truly, we were made for worship, and as members of the worship ministry at Heartland we have the privilege and responsibility to prayerfully encourage one another and Heartland’s fellowship to sing praise to our Lord and give honor to His holy name!

Through our corporate worship we aim to lead our fellowship into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and into a more vibrant understanding of the gospel message. All worship is intended to glorify God, invite the Holy Spirit into our presence, and proclaim Christ.
Psalm 100:1-2 A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!

At Heartland, we feel that singing and playing music is one of the main ways we can worship corporately. But ultimately, we adopt worship as a posture at all times in our daily walk, striving to praise God with all of our being!
